For Best results, name all your colonists Grug, make sure to only use colonists you recruit for science and art, eventually, everyone should have at least these 3 implants: Joywires, Painstoppers and Neurostimulators {assuming that's a vanilla item), and once a colonist has those, switch them to melee weapons.
