Car Props (Consumer Pack) v0.7
Consumer car props for scenebuilds, filming, and mapping.
Note
Many of these are scratch-made models. More will be created eventually.
These are NOT DRIVABLE.
The focus of this pack are vehicles commonly found circa 1999; eg. mostly late 80's and early 90's models. (I don't take requests guys, sorry. I have a huge list of vehicles to fill already and I've done my research of what makes sense to add.)
Vehicles included
- 1994-1996 Ford Aspire (3-door)
- 1995-1997 Ford Explorer (XLT, Eddie Bauer)
- 1995-1999 Pontiac Sunfire (4-door)
- 1996-2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager
- 1997-1999 Nissan Maxima
- 1997-1999 Ford Escort (wagon)
- 1997-1999 Toyota Camry
- 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 (EXT, +bed canopy)
(Located under "models/ocdev/cars/")
Next up:
- ???
Pack will contain a total of 12 vehicles by version 1.0
Features
- Several bodygroups, plus unique bodygroups
- Factory paint colors, plus unique selections to each model
- Embedded wheel animations
Polycounts for vehicles range from 15k-30k triangles
Optional bodygroups
All models feature:
- Occupant silhouette
- Fake contact shadow
- Nighttime running lights
- License plates from 16 states & provinces (registered 1999-2000).
Some models also have bodygroups for other features, such as:
- Trim levels and model-year facelifts
- Accessories including hood guards, roof racks, etc.
Skins/Colors
DO NOT USE THE COLOR TOOL ON THESE MODELS.
Instead, they each have a custom library of skins matching the proper factory color options unique to each car.
For all these options, you can hold "c" to open the context menu and right-click the spawned model.
I recommend using the Easy Bodygroup Tool to get at them quicker: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=104604943
Spawning
For an all-in-one prop spawning method, use my friend's Random Array Tool (R.A.T.)
Designed for use with this addon!

I've included a "parking lot" preset for the tool to get you started. Just drag and drop the models in and let it do the rest!
I hope all of you posers and filmmakers find this pack useful!
